About this burner

A rounded blue ceramic bowl, a pierced lotus lid and a red bead knob give this burner its distinctive shape. Lift off the lid to arrange your incense; the lotus openings let smoke rise through the top.

Choosing your incense

Suitable for incense coils, cones and powder incense. Check that your incense fits inside the 7 cm opening with room to spare. Incense sticks require a suitable support and a tray large enough to catch falling ash. For powder incense, use an appropriate incense-ash bed and shaping tools, sold separately.

Use & care

Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and flammable materials. Use the support or insulating base recommended for your incense and follow its instructions. Keep the lid openings clear and allow ventilation. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children and pets. The bowl and lid can become hot; do not hold or move the burner while incense is burning. Extinguish the incense and let every part cool completely before handling or cleaning.

Remove cooled ash and wipe gently with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes. This is an incense burner, not a candle holder or an essential-oil warmer.
