How to use the mold

  1. Prepare a level bed of incense ash in a suitable heat-resistant burner.
  2. Set the mold on the ash and fill its channels with incense powder intended for this use.
  3. Level the powder, then lift the mold by its handle without disturbing the pattern.
  4. Remove the mold before lighting one end of the powder trail, following the incense maker’s instructions.

Ruyi Cloud is a traditional wish-granting motif. Good Fortune is the Chinese character Fu, retained as part of the pattern rather than translated on the object.

Use & care

Use incense only on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated room. Keep burning incense in sight and away from children, pets and flammable objects. The burner and lid become hot: let them cool fully before handling. Do not use with candles or liquid fragrance oils. Remove cooled ash gently and avoid abrasive cleaners or sudden temperature changes.
